Today's young criminals post the darndest things

In Today's Eagle.
The legendary Art Linkletter from 1945 to 1970 hosted a TV and radio segment called "Kids Say the Darndest Things." Today, Linkletter might call those segments "Kids Post the Darndest Things."

Teens are using social media such as Facebook and YouTube to post pictures and videos of themselves performing lewd, illegal and embarrassing acts.

Today's young criminals post the darndest things.

The article didn't break any new information but what was interesting was the posts from readers.

"WOW! You can't hide from big brother.....I wonder if they use these techniques for civil and credit info...." - Posting on the Internet is not hiding. What part of WORLD WIDE WEB don't you understand.

I think a lot of this results from the fact that kids don't understand the realities of how Law Enforcement works. These kids are taught in government school that LE are their friends and not to be feared. So of course they don't hide their misdeeds as they should. And then they get busted and given a dose of the real world and what our current police state is all about. I bet these kids have a whole new understanding of our criminal justice system now. – Yeah it is about catching people doing criminal acts

Don't cops have better things to do than troll Facebook and MySpace looking for pictures of underage kids drinking beer? This isn't really what I pay taxes for. Comment By Zig Zag – Ok with a pseudonym like Zig Zag you are forgiven. Just put the bong down and step away from the keyboard.

If nothing ever happens to him, then nothing will ever happen to him

A discussion of the book “50 Dangerous Things (You Should Let Your Children Do)”.
Each of us has an idea of what is and isn't dangerous, but when pressed for specifics, it can be very difficult to make a clear definition. In this way, it's a little like great art; "I don't know much about it, but I know what I like." Having spent the better part of two years talking with parents, teachers, and kids about danger, I can say with some certainty that no two people can agree on what is dangerous. The parent who won't let his children climb trees may turn around and park the kids in front of the television for two hours a night, and the home-schooling mother who sends her kids into the woods for the day with a sack-lunch and a rifle won't let them walk through the mall alone. Our perception of danger is as highly personal as our phobias—and often about as rational.

Napping In Geography Class Could Be Expensive

Nigeria besides being home to a thriving Internet scam industry is also a major oil producing country. While what passes for a government is always screwed up it did not have a coup. Neighboring Niger is NOT a major oil producer but it did have one of its  weekly coup.
Confusion over the names of two similar-sounding African countries may have helped boosted oil prices to near $80 a barrel this week as traders rushed to buy oil after reports of a military coup. More

Guess Who Is Looking

If this is true not a real bright move.
A Lower Merion family has set off a furor among students, parents, and civil liberties groups by alleging that Harriton High School officials used a webcam on a school-issued laptop to spy on their 15-year-old son at home.
